Hey! My name is Aimilios Hatzistamou. I'm a hobbyist photographer based in London (originally from France and Greece). I love taking photos in my free time, especially while I'm travelling and fuelled by the burst of inspiration that comes with discovering a new place on earth.

The journey began at an early age when my father, a keen photo enthusiast, started exposing me to his cameras & gear. Things only got more interesting to me, however, when I learned about this weird art form that revolves around sneakily approaching strangers and shooting them from the hip – street photography. I started going on photo walks with my father and his friend Yannis (@mathiou_eyeshot). And while they geeked out on gear, I would be trying to muster the courage to take just that one extra step closer to my subject.
